Pleasant Differences
On one of my recent trips to the laundromat, I noticed another patron who prepared his laundry in a way I've never seen before. Most people will either fold their entire loads in various piles on location or take them home - as I do. This particular person kinda fascinated me. As you can see, he put his laundry together in one pile, folded it in half, placed in his laundry bag and went on about his business.
Why is this fascinating to me? Well it's simple, the world turns in one direction by the differences that make it do so. There's no wrong way or weird way he did his laundry...just different. We place people in boxes and think there's but ONE way of doing things but clearly we DO have unique ways, thoughts, customs. Because someone might not understand another, fear sets it. We fear what we don't know or understand and history has shown what that can do.
So...I celebrate our pleasant differences with a smile because if everyone did their laundry the same way, how boring we would be. :-)
